Calling all YOUTH!
Want
to know what is happening for you here at Pilgrim U.M. Church? Well, check out below. Also the bulletin every week and
look for the "Y.M. Corner," or look on the youth bulletin board near the front door with neon colors on it!
They will have upcoming events and important info.
2012 Winter Blast at Wesley
Woods - Feb. 10-11, 2012: We
will be leaving Fri., Feb. 10 at 4pm sharp from Pilgrim UMC and returning on Sat., Feb. 11 at 9:30pm. A list of all participants
is hanging on the KAIO bulletin board. Check to make sure you are registered. Balances are due. There is still room if you
would like to go. Everyone will need to bring the following: • Plenty
of warm outdoor clothes, boots, mittens, scarves & hats. • A sleeping bag or bed roll, and pillow. • Towel and
toiletry items • A Bible • An attitude of fun and wonderment. There will be a FREE "Winter
Blast" Long Sleeve Tee, Tubing, Skating, Broomball, & much more.
Heartland District Youth Rally
@ Leaton UMC on Feb. 25 &26: this is going
to be a great event to connect with other youth in our area and to spend some time on a road trip. Sign-up is in the KAIO
bins. Bring a friend!
Parent Sponsors: KAIO is starting a new tradition and it is called
"parent sponsors." Each week one parent will be asked to join us as a guest volunteer to observe and participate.
This will be a cool way to see what is going on in KAIO and get involved and….youth, it is only for one week….you
will survive your parents being there.
Are you older than 18?
If
YES, KAIO would benefit greatly from your involvement. As little or as much as you want. KAIO needs some more adult leaders,
representatives to serve on our Leadership Team, and chaperones for events. If NO, then you should be attending KAIO on either
Sunday or Wednesday nights. KAIO, helping all ages to set their world on fire
NEEDED - LARGE Capacity Vehicles:
Do you have a vehicle that legally seats more than 6 people? Looking for something to do
with your time? KAIO is in need of some vehicles and drivers to provide transport to and from events. If you wouldn’t
mind loaning your vehicle to KAIO for the night that can work also. Please contact Eric Branch at pastorejb@hotmail.com or
989-292-1395 if you can help KAIO out.
