PRAYER MINISTRY

Mission Statement:  To provide prayer life opportunities that encourage a more intentional relationship with the Lord.

Sunday Morning Prayer Partners
Dedicated members meet before the service to pray with the Pastor. They then go to our Chapel and spend the hour seeking God's blessings upon the service, our Pastor, our congregation, all ministries and our visitors. After the service anyone in the need of prayer is welcome to come to the Chapel to meet with these prayer members. All are welcome to sign up for this powerful ministry by being a prayer warrior.
(Meet with Pastor Ken, in his office, at 8:20 for 8:30am service and 10:35 for the 10:45am service.)
Prayer Chain
Pilgrim UMC prayer chain facilitates urgent prayer requests when they are received in the office or by e-mail. The sharing of answered prayers also become opportunities of praise and encouragement within the body of Christ. We currently have an active e-mail prayer chain and are in the process of starting a phone prayer chain for those without the internet. If you would like to be a part of this ministry please provide the church office with you email address or phone number.
Prayer Ministry Team
We are a group of dedicated prayer warriors who spend time in prayer and evaluate the current prayer programs and vision for future ministries involving prayer.

This ministry team was formed in 2002.  It is named in loving memory of Carol Desprez, who passed away February 28, 2002.  Carol had a heart for this specialized ministry by sending encouraging cards/notes/phone calls to the shut-ins of Pilgrim Church.
This ministry addresses the needs of our ill, widows/widowers and shut-ins through outreach and communication, as well as organized meals for families of our congregation affected by hospital stays, surgeries, births, or as needed.
Ministry Leader:   June Williams

POWER OF PRAYER AND HEALING
Monday's at 6:30 p.m.
God continues to lay on my (Pam's) heart healing. Through prayer and healing the Holy Spirit releases the power to see miracles and are we seeing miracles! GOD is so Awesome. I believe we are living in the end times where we are going to see the releasing of the Holy Spirit and people’s lives will be touched miraculously to bring Honor and Glory to the Lord Jesus Christ.
With the way the economy is and the things that are going on in this world how can you not get caught up in it. The Lord keeps revealing to stay in tune with Him, through His word, prayer and being obedient to Him. He will give you a peace that surpasses all understanding that only He can give not as the world gives.
God continues to show me He is in control just keep our eyes fixed on Him. Thank You Jesus!   If you have any questions, talk to Pam Williams. It is my heart’s desire is to see the chapel filled with people praying. Pam Williams, Prayer Co-ord.

Welcome to our Chapel
Our Chapel is open for those who wish to come in during the week and dedicate time to pray for the life of Pilgrim United Methodist Church. Also there are times when we need to get away for some quiet time with the Lord for personal reasons. All are welcome. The chapel is open from 7:00am to 9:00pm on weekdays and 9:00am to 9:00pm on weekends.
