Prayer Ministry
Mission
Statement: "To provide prayer life opportunities that encourage a more intentional relationship with
the Lord." Sunday
Morning Prayer Partners Dedicated members meet before the service to pray with the
Pastor. They then go to our Chapel and spend the hour seeking God's blessings upon the service, our Pastor, our congregation,
all ministries and our visitors. After the service anyone in the need of prayer is welcome to come to the Chapel to meet with
these prayer members. All are welcome to sign up for this powerful ministry by being a prayer warrior. (Meet
with Pastor Ken, in his office, at 8:20 for 8:30am service and 10:35 for the 10:45am service.) Prayer Chain Pilgrim UMC prayer chain facilitates
urgent prayer requests when they are received in the office or by e-mail. The sharing of answered prayers also become opportunities
of praise and encouragement within the body of Christ. Do you have access to email and have not given your address to
the church office, please consider doing so ASAP. We have around 100 families receiving announcements and more importantly
prayer requests daily. Prayer Ministry Team We are a group of dedicated prayer warriors
who spend time in prayer and evaluate the current prayer programs and vision for future ministries involving prayer.
Something
New to Monday Night Prayer Studying Prayer
and Worship, CD Series taught by Tony KempBeginning September 13th 6:30 p.m. Monday
night Prayer will be starting something new this fall with a half hour of teaching and then we will go into prayer. You do
not need to pray out loud if you don’t feel comfortable. We will listen to a teaching series taught by Tony Kemp bringing
heaven to earth by our prayer and worship to our Lord. You will learn how the supernatural act of prayer and worship can open
the heavens over your life so your needs can be miraculously met. God wants so much for us to give Him our whole heart
to love Him and serve Him for the purpose He created us. Through prayer and worship, the love of God pours out on us, as we
pour out our love for Him. When you sit in His presence just being still before Him, you find such an awesome peace. There
is so much anxiety and stress in the times we are living in. Come and join the Monday night prayer for a time of regeneration
through the teaching of worship and prayer. Taking this time for God will bless you so much; it gives you a boost to take
on the rest of the week. Anyone is welcome to come... men & women. If you have any questions please call Pam Williams
989-224-3564 or e-mail me pmwill55@yahoo.com.
Welcome to our Chapel Our Chapel is open for those who
wish to come in during the week and dedicate time to pray for the life of Pilgrim United Methodist Church. Also there are
times when we need to get away for some quiet time with the Lord for personal reasons. All are welcome. The chapel is open
from 7:00am to 9:00pm on weekdays and 9:00am to 9:00pm on weekends.

Letters This ministry team was
formed in 2002. It is named in loving memory of Carol Desprez, who passed away February 28, 2002. Carol had a
heart for this specialized ministry by sending encouraging cards/notes/phone calls to the shut-ins of Pilgrim Church. This ministry addresses the needs of our ill, widows/widowers
and shut-ins through outreach and communication, as well as organized meals for families of our congregation affected by hospital
stays, surgeries, births, or as needed. Ministry
