Ken Bremer Pastor
My professional life began as a journeyman, now I am a man on a journey. The call
of God has taken me from construction in west Michigan, to theological training in central Kentucky and back to Michigan again.
God has blessed me as a husband, father and a grandfather. I have served the local church full time since 1992 and I count
it a great privilege to serve God as pastor of Pilgrim Church.

Eric
John Branch Director of Youth Ministries and Evangelism
A
little about me…. I love Jesus with all that I am and He is my first love. I am married to the most beautiful
woman on the face of the earth, Jen. We have three children; our first awaits us in Heaven and our two daughters, Isabelle
and Irene. Some of my hobbies and interest are: drinking coffee with my bride, having dance parties with my daughters,
running marathons, paintballing, reading sci-fi, studying the Bible, photography, backpacking in Colorado, and enjoying life
to the fullest. My favorite Bible verse is all of them. On my IPod right now are Demon Hunter, Five Iron
Frenzy, NeedToBreathe, U2, TobyMac, Jars of Clay, KJ-52, and several audiobooks. I was called to serve at
Pilgrim U.M.C. beginning in June of 2011. My call is to empower and equip the people of God to serve God wherever they
are at right now. My main areas of focus are Youth Ministries and Evangelism. Please feel free to contact me with any questions, concerns, or how I can join
with you as we seek to advance the Kingdom of God. You can contact me at pastorejb@hotmail.com.

a difference for the kingdom. I am a pastor's wife, married my high school sweetheart, Ken, in May, 1973, mother of three
grown children, and grandma to five grandchildren, all living in Michigan. I love to crochet, read and camp. You

Candice Pierson
I was
raised attending the small rural West Bingham EUB Church along with my family including my grandparents. My husband
and I, our sons & families along with my parents, continue to worship amongst those remaining from that congregation at
Pilgrim. I became a member at the age of 12 and have been actively involved in ministry since graduation from high school.
I began my service as the first ‘official' church secretary in October 1971. My husband and I began dating in
high school as juniors and we were married in 1968. I am the proud mom of two sons who brought home two loving daughters-in-law.
I have three wonderful grandsons and one beautiful granddaughter. God has blessed me beyond measure with family,
church, home, and opportunities to serve. You can reach Candy directly at pilgrimumc@mutualdata.com.

Jim Pierson
I was raised in the First United Methodist Church of St. Johns where my family attended worship and I became a member.
I transferred my membership to Pilgrim following my marriage to Candy (Heibeck) in 1968.
After being drafted and serving in Viet Nam in 1969, I returned to my job at the Post Office as a City Mail Carrier
in St. Johns. In 2004, I retired and joined the staff as janitor
at Pilgrim. I also work at the Osgood Funeral Home serving families during funeral and memorial services.
I enjoy meeting and serving people and feel God has placed me where my God-given talents can best
be put to use. As a Christian husband, father, and grandfather, I strive daily to serve God and my family
to the best of my abilities.
